Hey gang, On May 9th, LEGO had an exhibit at the National Trust for Historic Preservation Conference. Jeff Stabile and I had the honor of being asked to help out with this exhibit. LEGO was receiving an award celebrating the 50th year of the system (...) (21 years ago, 12-May-05, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.events, lugnet.general) !!

(...) Jake- I'm surprised at the name choice. TLC usually chooses billion dollar companies as partners for co-marketing, joint ventures, and other business relationship. "Affiliate" is almost universally a term in the same league and implies a (...) (21 years ago, 12-May-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

(...) Joe- At SCLTC, we build tunnels and subterranean structures by stacking tables on top of each other using short legs and knobs bolted to the tops of the underlying tables. (...) Eh? The point is the books were originally called the Rev. W Awdry's Railway Series, so the title 'Thomas and the Magic Railroad' is something of a travesty.
