LSynth implement's Larry's string cross section (no use ducking Larry) to create string using the hose synthesis class (this means splined strings with nice smooth curves). I think that a string type that uses pulleys as constraints is important (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad)

Hey, I really appreciate the input from ppl who have actually worked on this sort of stuff. It happens to be an area I am actively researching, and I'm fascinated by how difficult it seems to be to do good simulations. The consensus seems to be that (...) The new Juniorized pirates are a HUGE disappointment as they are intended for 4 year olds. They just don't compare to the superior 1989-1995ish traditional minifig pirate sets. They have zero appeal to me, but I think perhaps there may be a few (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.pirates)
