(...) The fluted column idea would be one I would definitely go for, just make it in old light gray. 2x2x11 seems like a bit too much in height, so mine would just be 2x2x2.   My favourite piece

I was thinking this morning about a thread called My Favourite Piece. My favourite piece right now is: 4x3x1 Thinwall Window I like it because: You can build modern buildings with it. Put it inside or out, it still looks good. Stick the smooth side (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

I have to admit Patrick - that really would be a worthwhile part - I also think that the inverse peice in a two-plate high design iwth stud receptacles on both sides would be a very useful peice. Wouldnt this be a matter better discussed in the (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

Re: Question on Train Wheel Diameter, Minifig Scale

(...) Well, I have not done any math, and it seems clear that LEGO train wheels are somewhat undersized. Nonetheless I haven't noticed an aesthetic issue. Here is why I think that is the case. Unless you take apart your wheels, the shape of the (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

(...) Tought question. If I had to boil it down to a single piece, I'd go for a "Slope 33 3x3 Double Concave". In Red. Really a tough choice - I could list a bunch of pieces like that - bricks to round off rough corners or even big holes in the (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)
