Hey MichLUGgers, How'd the vignette contest go? Does (URL) this gallery> hold pics of all the entries, or were there others (it seems that (URL) cjdoyle> made vigs for this contest that don't appear there)? Who won? Inquiring minds want to know. (...) I had tan 1x16's and tan 1x4's--had to BrickLink the 1x8's ('cause I didn't want to take my Sopwith Camel apart) and the 1x2's (had noneof those) If I were to do a Dark Grey, I'd have to order all the 1xn Technic beams, and I'm saving for BF (...)   One more 948

(URL) The 948, in tan this time. Now that I've almost run out of that style of tire, and completely run out of the black tubing, think this'll be my last one. Dave K (21 years ago, 18-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Conditional lines on sloped wedge parts 43720 and 43721

(...) OK, I tried it and realise now that it doesn't solve the problem at all, just moves the outside curves to a different spot. I think Don is right, a more complex torus-like curve is necessary to represent it properly. ROSCO (21 years ago, 18-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Re: Conditional lines on sloped wedge parts 43720 and 43721

(...) Well, I thought about this, and what I would try is changing the polygons thus: If the top points are A1-5 and the bottom points are B1-5, keep the A2-B1, A3-B2 as currently, but instead of A2-B2 etc, use A3-B1, A4-B2, etc. I think that would (...) Just curious, Does the current inventory of 8680 elements include the print variations? If so, what is the count of unique elements (parts regardless of printing variations) at this time? Jude (21 years ago, 18-Apr-05, to lugnet.inv)
