Re: And now, for another theme bastardization : : Track MOW Ship

Quite sweet, this. Personally, I would say this belongs in both space and trains, as it has a bit of both. Great detail, great moc. I'm jealous of your amount of replies, my posts never get any. :) Congrats on the first "spaceish" model. -Josh (21 years ago, 11-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Minifig-scale Motorcycle

Hey legohaulics! Here is a MOC of mine, a bike scaled well to a minifig. Motorcycles are one of the harder things to build in legos, and I think I captured it fairly well. The chopper does seat a minifig, and has a fair amount of chrome, and plenty (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.announce.moc) !

  Re: Alternate connectors

While the 9V connector is cheap - I am quite happy to go with simple In-Line 2 pin connectors (IDC) - they are small, and cheap and have a fairly neat finish. The PP3 battery connectors would be somewhat bulky and look a little clumsy. Plus this (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)

I dunno - but I really like the compact adder-subtractor drive. I have been messing with those a lot - and that is very small. -- (URL) - Build Robots (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: My First MOC

As promised, here is a link for Brickshelf. There is a movie there too, but the lighting wasn't great (it was raining, and I was in my basement) so apologies. The robot tips in the movie because the floor it was on was slanted due to the drain in (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: GPS Reality?

But using a GPS's simple bearing and distance would work almost flawlessly. The accuracy number only reflects that the unit knows that the user is in a circle of that radius. However, the unit knows exactly how far you've gone, if not where you are. (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)
