Re: GBC 6 - the obsession continues...

I like the little agitator arm there - it took me a moment to see it - watching the vid. Nice module! I wander if we can bring it down to one motor, with some small transmition between the two.. Orion (21 years ago, 6-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  LEGO Software power tools.

Dear Curator, Tim Courtney is a great guy, and I consider him a friend, but he didn't co-author "LEGO Software Power Tools". Could we get that updated? Thanks, Kevin (21 years ago, 6-Apr-05, to lugnet.books)

  Re: Land Walker

(...) True, although as a "slider" it seems to work pretty well. I'm assuming there are either wheels or some sort of treads in the feet.   Re: Macaroni Brick Patterns

(...) I suppose the LEGO Comany could make such shirts and if you looked closely you could tell the designs were made up of LEGO bricks. But then you might expect LEGO to actually sell sets that would allow you to make the pattern that's on your (...) (21 years ago, 6-Apr-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) That's a pretty clever idea--wait a second, that's GALIDOR! I might as well start using MegaBlocks. -Brendan P.S. Just kidding. But I think Julie's come up with a simpler paper clip solution. (21 years ago, 6-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament: Judge Deborah

(...) I guess I'm not as bothered as some people at the idea of "mutilated" LEGO. I mean, don't think of it as a mutilated LEGO head that has become useless, think of it as two LEGO half-heads--a new specialty part previously unavailable. And who (...) You could try an image-averaging program. Only thing you'd need would be a tripod to hold the camera steady between frames. See (URL) for one option. James Wilson Dallas, TX (21 years ago, 6-Apr-05, to lugnet.starwars)
