It ain't easy being green (revisited)

(URL) See the link for more pics :) (URL) This isn't the best one 'cause I don't have 2x2 turntables in green. I don't think they come in green, but that's neither here nor there. But it's Green!!!! Now I'm getting the pieces together to make one in (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

  Re: Japanese Restaurant and Home

That's wonderful. I loved the typical Japanese items (such as the electricity pylons and vending machine) which are so noticable to the western visitor to Japan. Colour scheme was also spot on. And I'll defintitely be copying how you did the roof (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: different types of bricks in different years?

(...) As Clark stated, dating Lego can be very tricky. Old molds were often used at the same time as new molds. TLG rarely discarded them if there was still life left in them. Here is a list that shows major brick changes (between Cellulose Acetate (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-05, to lugnet.parts)

Make me laugh. Come on, I dare you sll!

Mwahahahaha! Tomorrow will be April 1st and last time I checked, there's all these pranksters that will be trying to catch us with a nice announcement about how LEGO is going to reintroduce the monorail sets or the classic grays... However, I'll mis (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

  Blaster MOC

Hi, This is my first Star Wars MOC, and I am quite happy with the results. If the pictures work, you can see that the barrel right behind the flash suppressor cone is made from five tires, three of which are turned inside out, and wrapped around (...)   Crate Contraption Writeups

I didn't want to post a writeup of the recent crate contraptions we've done until I had some video to show. Unfortunately all the video I took at NWBrickCon in October had really messed up audio.   Re: New MOC - Class 08 Shunter with on-board uncoupling device

(...) Oh yeah! Nicely disguised 9v technic motor in a 6w package. This is a great all-LEGO solution, Jon. Of course, DCC aux output would eliminate the trackside ramp and allow uncoupling anywhere, but this is an everyman solution for sure. I _have_ (...) (21 years ago, 31-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: different types of bricks in different years?

(...) Yes, there are many smaller variations in brick molds than what is shown on Peeron. That site only tracks 'functional' differences in the brick. That is changes that effect the way you use bricks to build things. Many of the smaller mold (...) (21 years ago, 31-Mar-05, to lugnet.parts)

I've been waiting for Jon to post this here since he posted it on the Brickish site this morning.
