  Re: Contrary to popular belief...

(...) I'm pretty dumb with the town stuff, but I did follow both your ideas. What about putting those Grey parrot pieces in each window, so they're like, stone sculptures up there on display? Or is that really dumb? No, dumb would be having an (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

GBC 6 - the obsession continues...

Well, a week ago I finally made it down to a GBC assembly in central Indiana. For those who think the GBC videos are wonderful, I can now state from experience they are nothing compared to actually being there! Steve has already posted some (...)   Program INI files (was: RE: Some comments on the LPub 2.2.0.9 beta)

(...) I like to add that LDDP, LDAO, and, to some extent, L3PAO use the ldraw.ini file to store program wide settings. I like this approach since it doesn't use the registry (which I abhor) and therefore makes the data easier to find and the program (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Some comments on the LPub 2.2.0.9 beta

(...) I haven't been able to keep up with this whole discussion, (sorry) but one thing struck me. Once upon a time we tried to put this sort of global config stuff in the generic ldraw.ini file instead an app specific file like mlcad.ini. Here's an (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: 7 Vignettes, some even starring Joe Vig

Wow. That's an awful lot of vignettes. Must have been a busy (or rather not so busy) weekend for you. I like the UFO one, and the roller coaster one looks like it has potential. I can't tell for sure from the picture you posted though. Steve (21 years ago, 28-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.vignette)

Re: New MOC: Prototype Class 14 Diesel Loco with BBB Wheels

(...) I found that at low power levels of RCX drive, a technic motor in parallel actually caused the train motor to speed up - the technic motor must provide some filtering of the PWM. I already have other engines using gearmotors, so I used similar (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: ISD Build competition

Re: Some comments on the LPub 2.2.0.9 beta

(...) I am currently working on an MPD file that uses all the layout meta-commands, this was recommended by a wise (and probably frustrated) LPub user. I'm about 85% done fixing the bugs this process uncovers. There are so many other issues I have (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Some comments on the LPub 2.2.0.9 beta

(...) Before we start, lets talk a bit about where I'm going with LPub. When I release the next LPub, it will also be going open source, as promised. LPub would be better suited to a larger develoment team. Through these conversations, you have (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad)
