  Re: Pnumatics

(...) It's the size of the small compressor, but it's a cylinder. No. I only have one small cylinder, but more then god of the large ones thanks to backhoes and Sears clearance. Derek (21 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Internationalization of the part library?

(...) Thanks! Looking forward to it! I sort of don't follow the subtlety of the issue with lookup (GNU gettext?), but it seems to me from the outside that the part number ought to be the lookup key rather than one version of the part name. At least, (...) (21 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Bye, bye LUGNET

(...) I'd prefer to (...) This is exactly why Lugnet has not published a list of no-no words. But really, is there anyone here who doesn't know that f**k is a bad word? I think the only two words that would get you an email from an admin are f**k (...) (21 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Pnumatics

(...) The backhoe has 10 big cylinders without the square bottom. I have a backhoe and I'm never taking it apart :) (21 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Pnumatics

So I bought those Pnu accessory kits (3 of them), and I bought a few other miscellaneous large cylinders and such... So here's the breakdown on what I own-- 14 pnu valves 10 large cylinders with square bottom 8 large pnu pumps 7 small pnu pumps 5 (...) (21 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Technic MOC: DuckPro Automated Duck Assembly

(...) Iain used the large shock absorber and designed an axle/slide end-of-arm-tool that was really neat! Basically the axles kept the EOAT from moving around while being pressed down. Maybe there's some pictures sonewhere. The whole assembly was a (...) (21 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

Anyone shoot video at Drag Racing?

Hey guys, Did anyone shoot video at Drag Racing? I enjoyed Drag Racing so much (actually having participated and placed) that I forgot to pull out the ol' video camera and take some footage. Did anyone from the group shoot any material?! Calum (21 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Bye, bye LUGNET

(...) This is true, but there are some words that many people find offensive and/or don't want their kids to see. But I don't think the issue here is about naughty words. I think the issue here is with the Orwellian mode of enforcement. I'd prefer (...) (21 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Ackerman steering geometry : How do you make it ?

(...) Thank you, I had completely forgotten this kind of steering device in this model, however well-known. This assembly not only answers the principle of Ackerman but in more the rack move in a straight line (as far as I remember). It is just a (...) (21 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Great post. I'm going to need to read through it several times. Any way you can post bigger pics, or post links to where they can be found? Thanks, James Wilson, Dallas, TX (21 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.parts.mod)

Re: Ackerman steering geometry : How do you make it ?

(...) I believe that the 8479 barcode truck also used a sort of Ackerman steering. Can't cut and paste the image as easily as Jennifer, since it's in a PDF. The prevalent theory seems to be: if you draw an imaginary line through the steering arms (...) (21 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)
