Hello All! Happy Chinese New Year! (I might have misspelled it in the Subject line...apologies to those of Chinese heritage if so.) 2005 Year of the Rooster! (URL) a little MOC.   Re: New MOC - fright car from the middle of the last century

(...) Well, it is about time! You are a schleimer and a (URL) schlacker> :-) As for the MOC, I say, "Wie schön!" Your delicate schleiming creates a very elegant and realistic MOC. Ganz gut. I hope we don't have to wait another 18 months for your (...) (21 years ago, 8-Feb-05, to lugnet.loc.de, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: Laser Level

(...) I would not want to change the way we handle this form for the world. (Well maybe, having the world would be pretty cool) However you want to define what we discuss here is up to you. The point is we come close to generating more messages then (...) (21 years ago, 8-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: New MOC - fright car from the middle of the last century

(...) I dunno. *I* think the most difficult part of building one of these is saving up digger buckets till you have enough for a roof! Nice build. Spotlighted. Thanks for sharing! XFUT trains... (21 years ago, 8-Feb-05, to lugnet.loc.de, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.trains)

Re: New MOC - fright car from the middle of the last century

(...) Thanks for your feedback James! Maybe the best thing about these doors is: they really work and can be opened. www.brickshelf.com/g...opened.jpg The second waggon which I built last weekend is missing that..... (...) Local shows are easier to do, but NMRA is a big question mark...hrm. (...) Well, fluff might be moving on, you never know :) Some fluff is kinda useless, others, which are usually the more Toronto-oriented or "weird stuff we all appreciate" (...)   Re: Three New Bots

(...) I'd have to agree - love the designs, but purple kinda tanks. Teal would look much better. But they're your bots, you can dress 'em foofy if ya want. - Kelly (21 years ago, 8-Feb-05, to lugnet.space)

  Useless link of the day

This one is brilliant. It features two of our favourites, Limoseen style rocker graphics AND an Amiga 500: (URL) an entire article about stuff to do with old computers (other than program your RCX with) but it's in German. (URL) (21 years ago, 8-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Modules was (Laser Level)

(...) I think I would like a new one once this generation of events is over (maybe next year). Do we need a skirt for NMRA? Maybe we should put out the laundry list of stuff of things to do. (...)   Re: Parts numer 6573 (Technic differential New)

(...) The slot enables you to "cancel" the effect of the differential. Look at what this guy did: (URL) Here you can see the locking differential: (URL) With the new diff you can do that on the diff itself, without the need for another axle. - David (21 years ago, 8-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Moonbase Brewery

I really really really liked this Moonbase! The "in situ" PDX pics bring the concept to life. Makes me smile. Btw, the super cool work bench pics rule. e (21 years ago, 8-Feb-05, to lugnet.space)

(...) bots. If Art Deco Bot is the picture of 1920's excess, why are his powers funkatronic? This bot is an anachronistic ambiguity. It sucks that you got stuck with purple. I vote for you to get stuck with Rock Raider teal. There's only one kind of (...) (21 years ago, 8-Feb-05, to lugnet.space)
