The teeth on that part were used in conjunction with this part: (URL) parts are old and the teeth usually broke off or the piece would crack. Basically you could use the bush to position the connector anyway you wanted on an axle and hold it in (...) (21 years ago, 8-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic)
