  Re: Simulink Compilation

Dear Marc, It would be very interesting to have Simulink + Realtime Workshop controlling the RCX. By the way, how much speed do you expect can be achieved considering the communication speed between PC and RCX ? Liem. (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: (MOC) 36-gun Frigate RTS LEGOMALEE

(...) I entirely agree. Kurt has done a few things that I would have discounted out of hand if I was building a ship myself (the hull length, the size of the tops, the double width hull extension from below, the 2x1 slopes from the top rather than (...)   Re: pre-releases brickos-0.9.0/lnpd-0.9.0 avail. for testing/feedback

Steve, (...) The 0.9.0 version does not, however, this is being worked as I write this. Expect a 0.9.x point release to allow us all the chance to test the new code before we release as v1.0.0 Regards, Stephen -- (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: Lessons learned in pre-school

(...) Yes, we certainly are. But the pre-school kids don't find drag-racing *cool*. Maybe for the bigger kids and adults... The younger kids much prefer train layouts they can go round and round many laps like the Grand Prix. And ones in which they (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: who does chris think he is?

(...) I agree with your reasoning, words aren't bad. It's all contextual. You can bet we're talking with people whose posts are inappropriate, trigger words or not. It's just that the ones with the f-bomb and such are only the most obvious. The (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Whilst endeavouring to clean up my LEGO stuff...

I stumbled across an extra RCX remote controller. I know Iown 2, but I'm pretty sure I don't own 3, but I appear to have 3 in my basement right now. So if anyone is missing a remote, let me know--I'll bring it to Feb. dinner. It's probably Jeff VW's (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Paul's Ferrari

Thanks for making a thread for the car Nathan. That was very cool of you! The car has many nice features and I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I still will probably make some changes here and there, nothing major. Here are the weak points in (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: stepping up to the dead horse (was some other title)

Hm... I used to be extremely fanatic about LEGO, but I've long ago gotten to the point that taking Lego seriously at all would mean getting depressed over it. I just don't care enough about the toy these days to give a...eh, this is a public forum. (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
