  2005 Sets

Has anybody found many 2005 sets at big retailers (TRU, Walmart, Zellers, etc...) yet? I have seen a few sets here and there but not the entire lineup yet. Jude (21 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: A Monumental Task

(...) Well, it's one month gone by and the Lego is packed up and ready to be moved. It took close to 200 boxes and 5 66 quart Sterilite containers. All that's left is to bag up the instruction books and put them in a 66 quart Sterilite container. (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.storage)

  spyshot of my next MOC

Hi everyone, It appears that this MOC is going to be delayed a bit longer than i thought because I'm busy with the real world (amongst other things) and bieng the attention whore that I am, I couldn't wait to post at least something. So I decided to (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  An amazing builder

Okay, so I thought that I might share with all you lugnetters the work of my friend Paul, also known as brickbaron. He doesn't spend too much time online so his work may have gone unnoticed by many. I figured it was time he was discovered. His mocs (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

  Re: Super-Agent Vignettes

(...) No element is useless. Well, maybe some of those poops, but sometimes it just takes a little work. And yes, I know I stole the rocket design from the Saturn V set. I can't help it, I got lazy. It was the last one I built, and by that time I (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Super-Agent Vignettes

(...) You're quite welcome. As for the scorpions vs. snakes, I chose scorpions because Rick Hallman said I should use snakes, and I don't trust anything that commie says. I really had more fun building these than I have in quite a while. Adrian (21 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Super-Agent Vignettes

(...) Sorry to spoil your fun. I had a habit of doing that a couple of years ago with Chris Maddison. Every time he had an idea for a MOC, I built it a week ahead of him. I must be psychic or something. Thanks for the kind words Adrian (21 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Help me get rid of some of my inventory!

Western sets in Lego club newsletter ?

Lately I've been very interested in #6762 Legoredo, wish they'd rerelease it as a Legend, so I decided to go to Lego.com and do a search for it, just in case they still had some. :) Anyways, among the search results was the front page of a Lego club (...)   Re: MOC: Egglift, a Lego Appliance to cook soft-boiled eggs

(...) Thanks! And from the other post ((URL)), it appears that the ABS will start to give way around 80 deg Celsius. Btw, I think your invention could also do hot dogs and bacon rashers for a fuller breakfast ;-) CS (21 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

Re: (MOC) 36-gun Frigate RTS LEGOMALEE

(...) I really like it, Kurt! The sail plan and fighting tops are very realistic. I also like the boat hanging over the stern. The after castle seems a bit high for a frigate, however the proportions are otherwise very nice. Nice ensign as well! (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Re: beginnings of a mech

Just a couple of comments. First, that is a great idea for the toes! I like your style of having two or three toes fanned out claw-style, but I didn't like how it seemed to flatten the feet out, I always thought they'd look better with a little more (...)
