Re: MOC: Egglift, a Lego Appliance to cook soft-boiled eggs

(...) The range of the Lego temperature Sensor is -20o C to 70 o C. You can see one reading below. As you can see, I'm almost off limit. (URL) (...) From my test, definitely the sensor would go off range first. Probably that's the reason why TLC (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

  Hordika Despondency

I purchased today set 8737 which looked from the packaging to have 2-4 new pieces which I thought would make excellent leg/foot pieces for my LEGO robot creations. Upon opening the package, I became despondent. The interesting pieces, namely the (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Super-Agent Vignettes

(...) I suggest changing the rocket to a more blue&gray color scheme, then selling that vignette for $50, Adrian. Also: great vignettes, Laser and Flame Wall are my favorites. (21 years ago, 15-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: new models 2005 (crane)

AArgh! That's too long a wait! Me want lego crane now! LOL! (21 years ago, 15-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Super-Agent Vignettes

(...) Secret-agents had it coming. Nice use of the (previously thought useless) trans-red circular saw blades. They're all tremendously fun, but the surgery one needs an evil nurse chick with a short skirt holding the tray of surgical tools. I'd use (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: the evolution of lego sorting

(...) I'm right with ya onboard the "I Hate Scratches" bandwagon. Over the years, I've always thought scratches were caused only by bricks against bricks. When I got the whole M:Tron™ collection for Xmas '90, I kept those trans-neon-green pieces in (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-05, to lugnet.storage, FTX)

  Re: new models 2005 (crane)

(...) No, but the text in the brickshelf folder says "autumn 2005". Wow, great sets. Something good is happening over in Lego Technic. - David (21 years ago, 15-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Automated Inventory Ordering through Bricklink

As a seller, I find this talk disturbing. My job is to take many sets apart and consolidate the pieces. If someone can easily place an order for all the parts from one set... An order of many lots of onesies or twosies is unprofitable because it (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-05, to lugnet.market.brickshops)

  Re: Technic plates

(...) The shank with the dimension is galled up but it fits the 3/16" hole in the bit racks - I've got more than a few sets of drill bits and loose ones hanging around. I simply looked for the bit that provided a good fit (no slop) in a stack of 8 (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: new models 2005 (crane)
