Well, I wouldn't really even use the batterires unless I was going to do some robot that had to be moving around. I would just use an AC Adapter for it. Simplistic and cost effective instead of blowing 6 batteries in a few short hours of using the (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

It's strange that you say alkaline batteries don't "seem to last very long at all". I've been using mine for over a month. You should probably qualify your statement by saying how many minutes or hours you've run the motors on those batteries. (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

First of all, we ROCKED the NMRA show! We had a location right near the front doors, with great visibility. We had 30 - 40 people around the layout at almost all times through the entire show.
