  Blacktron Mining Operation Discovered

During a recent routine survey of outlying moons our probe discovered a Blacktron mining base which was in the process of being decommissioned. It was likely visible only because its main power generators had already been removed so that there was (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX) !

  Re: Grade Crossing Signal Thingy...

(...) One approach is to use a linkage mechanism in which the gate is driven by a link that no matter how the motor rotates, never takes the gate below horizontal or beyond directly vertical. That of course introduces other issues, such as knowing (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)

OK, sent out another batch of about 25-30 cards. That's probably all I can get out before leaving town. Thanks again to everyone for the kind words. -Brendan (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.fun.holiday, FTX)

  Re: Grade Crossing Signal Thingy...

I have a couple of newbie questions about things like this. First, how do you protect the motor? In this particular design it looks like you could actually rotate the arm past vertical, which I guess isn't a problem until you hit the ground on the (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

Hi Andreas, I really appreciate the scale and details of your creation. The minifigures seem to be just about the right proportion to the building. Many details are nice but I especially like the lower level arcade, the bay windows, and the roof. I (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: 10152 Back at Shop@Home...

(...) Whoa. What country were you set to? I get "this item is not available in this country" (set to USA)... maybe it's a placeholder for the new colored version?   Re: Brick 1 x 6 x 5 with Rocket Launch Pattern – RELOADED

(...) Thanks for the reminder about that! I always forget. Still, a quick "ya we're discussing it" followed by a "what do people think" here doesn't hurt. (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
