 | | Cycloplin: a one-man airship
Hello. I made a one-man airship. The person peddles to make the flap-dealies move, causing the whole thing to move. I used Bruce Lowells sphere. This particular cycloplin has been around for a while, so the owner, a wizard, has had to patch a few (...) Dear LEGO, I understand that ROBOLAB, which is sold directly by LEGO, includes a version of the RCX firmware which has not been made available as part of a Mindstorms SDK or as part of the RIS 2.0 software nor has it been made available to the (...) (21 years ago, 12-Dec-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) Why have a replacement at all? The file format stands by itself. There's no reference complier for C code, no reference viewer for the PNG format, and no reference CAD program for the DXF format, why should there be one for the LDraw system? (...) I think there are two separate, and related, questions here: Do we want to keep supporting DOS as a platform? Do we want to keep supporting LDraw 0.27? (...) | | Grey zone debate wanted! (was: Lego in subdomains, legal or not?)
