Re: what is the best starter train set?

(...) That is a screaming deal. Thanks. I'm curious as to why 4561 isn't highly regarded.   why doesn't this work?

I've written a program to record the timing of a rotation sensor changing in an array, but all I get out is zero's and the occaisonal 1 or 4. I've checked several things but can't find any obvious problem. The program compiles and runs perfectly and (...) (21 years ago, 30-Nov-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi and thanks for the link! My problem isn't so much a problem more of a "I've got these LEGO computers, I don't build robots, now how do I make use of them" kind of thing. :) I think, unfortunately, the building or converting of an RCX is beyond me (...) (...) It is. (...) That change happenend almost 15 years ago now, and there haven't been any changes since, so any 9V you get is compatible with any other. 4.5 and 12v stuff is also gauge compatible. So it's all good. (...) What are your criteria? (...) (21 years ago, 30-Nov-04, to lugnet.trains)
