  Re: New Space?

(...) That would ROCK! (...) I think this is a super idea, and I think if someone at LEGO hears about it (are you listening, Jake) and pushes the idea upstream, they might go for it. They have just shown that it can be done, with the (URL) Factory®> (...) (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

Re: One last Spring Cleaning set

(...) So far, I have been unable to locate these in north Fla. One store I spoke with indicated that "a bunch of Lego is going to be on sale", but she did not yet have the ad-copy. We shall see what happens on Thrusday. Ray (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: 2 Micro MOCs : Heavy Haulers & Shell gas station

(...) Wow! Thanks, I'll have to try that!! I never would have known there were keyboard commands... Is that stuff documented somewhere? I was wrongly guessing all sorts of things like holding down Control or Alt while I dragged parts. ... I just use (...) (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Running trains in cold weather

Hi Has anyone ever had issues running thier 9v trains out in the winter weather in a covered area? I have concerns that the cold may affect the motors and track. Did anyone have a good experience running trains in the cold weather? I did see the (...) (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.trains)

Re: The Adventurers Travel in Style

(...) I know I've seen something cool when I keep thinking about it later. "Man, that is so cool. It's like a mobile HQ for the Adventurers". Later at dinner: "I'm not even into trains and this thing had me excited. Its totally something they would (...) (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Appreciating what TLG and Lego Direct have done for AFOL's

(...) Dear Rich, you cried for this, so let me answer: - Ignition started - counterstatement launched - get a deep breath Blay sucks and will suck forever. I think this is a fact for the majority of AFOLs I know. Ben P.s.: I appreciate the existence (...) (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.color) !!

  Spybotics Articles

Hi, I have created couple of Articles/Tutorials on Spybotics. Some of them are normal articles while some of them are in the format of "Talking Presentations" (made from Power point 2000) using Microsoft Agents. Actually I made them for my son and I (...) (...) great stuff! I especially like the doc, and the rat army. Especially the rat army, very well done, I'd like to see more of them. -Dan Rubin (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: New CS consoles - now featuring better glow!

(...) Not impossible, but definitely too tough for even the likes of me. Consider this though: put the acetate inside the brick and then you would not have a smooth face on the outside. You'd have a ridge there. I can probably clean this current (...) (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.parts.mod)

Re: New CS consoles - now featuring better glow!

(...) Hey Rob, those look good. One suggestion: Have you considered placing the transparent piece on the inside of the brick? It might be more difficult, but it would lend a cleaner look. -Grand Admiral .space Curator (URL) (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)

Re: New CS consoles - now featuring better glow!

Rob, those are great. Never mind the naysayers "LEGO never made that console in that color" or whatever they may say. You are a(n evil) genius. Of course, now you have to figure out how to introduce motion effects into your lighting, so (URL) this (...) (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)

Re: 2 Micro MOCs : Heavy Haulers & Shell gas station

(...) Switch to a top-down view and place the cars where you want them. Then switch back to a side view and press Page Down to set them down on the road. Nice trucks! Marc Nelson Jr. (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: Thank You Dave, Re: Thanks rtl(rlt, wink)Toronto

(...) Napolean, baby! He had it goin' on! Anyway, I shall endeavour to book us gigs at train shows. Not toy-train and doll shows or shows out in Nowheresville...   Lego remote control code for PC

Is there a way to write programs on the PC that are controlled by the Lego remote control? Clearly the RCX can be programmed to react to signals from the remote control but I was wondering whether the same could be done for a PC. Thanks, Ralph (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: Appreciating what TLG and Lego Direct have done for AFOL's

(...) Where are you getting your information from? Every survay I've seen at best comes up with keep both colors but never have I see a survay that says bley is perfered by a "majority".   Re: BNSF MOC

(...) Yes. You've used two 2x3 slopes on the right-hand side, then a 2x4 on the other side at the back and made up two studs of slope with the little 1x1x2/3 slopes. Then you've only photographed it from the right, and the one shot that shows what (...) (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
