LEGO Factory Contest: Rules or Suggestions?

I guess TLC is not enforcing the rules of its own contest: (URL) The winner in the Senior category ("Deluxe Building" by GabrielLee) was built on 16 baseplates, as opposed to the 4 specified in the (URL) contest rules>. Can someone from TLC explain (...) (21 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX) !!

  Re: MOC: Blacktron Outcast Racer

(...) Aah, sweet. I just put together a small Blacktron MOC with chrome highlights (nothing special, it will probably show up along side another MOC I'm working on), and was thinking Blacktron totally deserves chrome. Your racer really shows how. I (...) (21 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Blacktron Outcast Racer

(...) Thanks! Mmmm... the taste of snazz... The chrome came about when I was working on the engines. I needed a way to flip the studs around to get that front cone on, and when I put on the sabre handles, it was clear that I had something. -- Tony (...) (21 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Sub-part numbers for Monorail Point/Switch Right

(...) Well this is a problem. But it could occure to more "old" DAT-files. (...) I could live with that. And I also think a "go left/right" and a "go straight" Shortcut _is_ needed. CU bernd (21 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: MOC: Blacktron Outcast Racer

(...) Glad to hear it! And I hope that I'll have more Blacktron on the way. If I can manage to get some more building time in the next few days, I would like to enter at least one of the contests going on at the moment. (...) I'll take that as a (...)   Re: Appreciating what TLG and Lego Direct have done for AFOL's

(...) Not joking. Only raising a point. (...) No, never went to BrickFest. Too far. Yes, communicated and discussed a lot of things with him, and talked to him personally, of course, when he was over here. TLG interacting? Now you're joking... (...) (...) (21 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

Jake, could you please clarify the list? (Was: Re: Universal Color List...finally)

(...) Dear Jake, could you clarify this list? You mentioned some colours that are not on the list of Lego colours at Peeron, so I tried to find the most plausible matches of "your" colours to the Lego-internal list of colour numbers and names.   Re: Appreciating what TLG and Lego Direct have done for AFOL's

(...) Is Jake achieving? Are you joking? Maybe you're just not going to BrickFest, ever reading Jake's posts or interacting with TLG at all - but I'd say Jake isn't just doing something.. Jake is doing A LOT! And by that, I mean >achieving< results, (...) (21 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Sub-part numbers for Monorail Point/Switch Right

(...) At the least, 2880 and 2881 are used in James' parts list: (URL) apparently weren't changed in the Purge Of 1998-06. So if the numbers are incorrect, no one knew it back then. Steve (21 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Dover Show Success

The Dover show was a success with our layout drawing a crowd all day. We also setup a play area which drew children all day long. Many children made creations and added them to the layout.
