Re: LEGO's Rescue... Interesting article in the Sunday Times (UK)

(...) a very sad state of affairs, to say the least. just walk down the isles of wal-mart, and notice what kind of toys get the most shelf space. last year, around chistmas, they had at least four whole isles, both sides, FULL of junk "made in (...) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.mediawatch)

Re: Pinpoint--entry for the Military Hover Contest

Hi Kyle, Lovely hover ship! The bug shape works very well for a VTOL of some kind. I like the canopy design. I guess the angle you use for that is something difficult to make, and you made it look easy. I also like the plating around the engines, it (...) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Pinpoint--entry for the Military Hover Contest

Extremely nice model ya got there Kyle. This is exactly the kind of building I was hoping for in this kinda of contest. ;) It has been added to the contest page, and is the sole entry for multi-man catagory at the moment. Rick (21 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Blocks

(...) Yeah, The Grudge gave me the creeps for days afterwards. I think I'll crawl into my nice safe bed now. [Thinks of S. Williams] Or maybe not. Oh well, another sleepless night working on my bot, and it should be able to do one more block than (...) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Pinpoint--entry for the Military Hover Contest

My entry for the Military Hover Contest is the Pinpoint, a two-man hover gunship. At 30 studs long, it slots in to the medium category. Click either pic for the Brickshelf gallery: (2 URLs) There's also a (URL) mocpages> entry. I'd like feedback on (...) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

Re: Creator Set has 500 extra pieces in dazzling colors...

(...) Well these bonus boxes recently showed up in Australia (thanks LEGO!) and the number stamped on all the boxes I saw was 3214. Looks like maybe we got yet another assortment! In fact there were 2 or 3 variations within our assortment, and lots (...) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Best value way of getting into trains in Oz...

(...) There's also Bricknet... 10% off RRP and cheaper (or free) shipping than S@H. (...) Yes, I do have the odd piece floating around (including some 4.5V train stuff), so while lots of pieces at a low cpp is always good, it's not my focus for this (...)   FA: over 18,000 clone brand parts in 22 eBay lots

Yup, I'm going cloneless. There are a couple built once sets in here, but the vast majority of parts are new and unplayed with. Some highlights include over 5,000 dark green bricks, a Mega Bloks griffin, lots of castle accessories (swords, armor, (...) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Republic Interceptor

(...) Thanks, Ryan. :) (...) Heh. How about a couple of pics of the Republic Interceptor in action? Courtesy of my son, Noah... (2 URLs) "Shhhhooooooommmmm!" Well, I might revisit the cockpit since there seems to be interest. I suppose there is (...) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Modellmessen

(21 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.no)
