  Re: Visiting D.C. Nov 16-19

(...) Hi Jason, This is great! We have our monthly dinner meeting set for the 17th. So this works out wonderfully. That is, if you all can join us on that night. We have not decided which restaurant yet and will likely have that figured out after (...)   Re: Rule check

I know I'm getting incredibly picky now, but if my bot had a stack hopper that was 1x2 blocks, the following two scenarios could result (URL) So by the current scoring rules, (1) would count as two 4 block towers even though they touch, but what (...) (...) Jason, I'd be more than happy to swing by the store with you guys and get a bite to eat. I'm Brian, currently (well, just for the rest of today) working at the Tyson's Corner store.   MOC F1 car; no it's not a red Ferrari, but an alternate yellow one of the 4404 set

As many may have seen there are some LEGO F1 cars on the market. If you are a fanboy of Formula 1 but you don't have the money to buy an F1 lego car, or if you just dislike Ferrari after another victory, there might be another solution... Take the (...)   Re: LEGOfactory and LDraw

(...) Hi Jaco, This is great! Now you just need to know which colors you are allowed to use.   Re: On retaining information...

(...) I have been told that the best way to learn something is to teach it. In this context you might try writing a report or article about what your learned. Imagine that you are trying to teach it to someone. This involves some time and you should (...) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-04, to lugnet.people)

Re: RCX Replacement Firmware - Performance Testing Results

(...) Snip That's very exciting news. What are your plans for distributing the super-charged frimware. I would be interested in trying it sometime. Will there be a web site or something like a sourceforge project? Lester (21 years ago, 11-Nov-04, to lugnet.robotics)

  LEGOfactory and LDraw

Hi all, Has anyone considered making the new "baseplates" in LDraw and creating a "Favorites" group for MLCad of the parts you are allowed to use in the competition? If not, I will attempt to do so. I think it would be fun to do the same in LDraw? (...) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: RCX Replacement Firmware - Performance Testing Results

Re: Sort-of-poll: Your most common Lego dream?

(...) Weird - my recurring LEGO dream is very similar. I am in a Toys R Us (old-style with long aisles), and I find a bunch of 80s-era sets (in the yellow boxes) that never existed. Large Forestmen and Black Falcons sets are the most common "finds". (...) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Sort-of-poll: Your most common Lego dream?
