  Vintage Lego set 183 but......Italian

Hi, I am currently disposing of a ragtag mix of vintage Lego which I have inherited. Amongst it is a 4.5V train set No 183 in excellent condition but to my surprise the usual "with 4.5V motor" sticker on the front is in Italian and the instructions (...)   Re: Prototype Hunters Library

(...) You really should. After the Nemo stories and the Indy films, this is some of the best inspiration for Adventurers fans IMHO. You'll love how they took snippets from dozens of other stories and movies :D (...) Sounds like a plan! (21 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: TRU sale, Nov 6-19

Hi, I picked up the 8800+8799 combo pack today in Ottawa and it was $29.97 as well. In the store it was listed as $39.99 originally but on sale for $29.97, so I suspect every TRU may have this deal. Kevin (...) (21 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Anatomy of a Shop At Home group order

(...) Yes, good idea. :) (...) Do you mean that LEGO would do this? (...) I saw the idea of a full-blown group program as the last step, not the first. The first step would be seeing how customers would react to this. See my response to Scott's (...) (21 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Anatomy of a Shop At Home group order

(...) [My notes snipped... message was getting way too long.] :) (...) True. Since I'm not privy to any of LEGO's financial information all of my ideas and thoughts about this were pure speculation. However, it is clear to me that our $900 order was (...) (21 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Republic Interceptor

I really like this one. The greebling is great and the color scheme works. I especially like the integration of the millennium flacon print on the saucer pieces. But most of all I like the engines. Kick arse work! Brent (21 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: 2005 Fire Pics

(...) Outside of some special promo sets, LEGO has long ended "Europe/US-only" sets. The new fire sets have already been spotted in certain LEGO-operated stores in the US. (21 years ago, 8-Nov-04, to lugnet.town)

  Re: One last chance.......

(...) Janey, I heard very good things about the display this year. And have seen your pictures as well on Brickshelf. It sounds like the 2nd annual appearance of the Can-Brick Builders was a success. I'm sorry I didn't make it to the show however. I (...) (21 years ago, 8-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: 4562 Revealed! (was Spring Cleaning...)

(...) This is the one I was going to call 'D' (...) I did not get any of these, so this would be 'E' (...) Someone emailed me privatly and indicated that he had found six versions of the large bonus bag. So there may be an 'F' lurking about as well. (...) (21 years ago, 8-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Next SANDLUG meeting

(...) Better have a DVD player on hand because I just got my copy of the BrickFest 2004! See Ya, Adr. (21 years ago, 8-Nov-04, to lugnet.org.us.sandlug, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sd, lugnet.loc.us.ca.la, FTX)
