Re: Crazy idea - analog computer

There is a lot of confusion here. There are three things to decide upon: 1) Analog or Digital. 2) Mechanical or Electronic (or Pnuematic or Hydraulic or...whatever). 3) Programmable or Fixed Function. The Meccano machine referred to earlier is most (...) (21 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Atatosomb: A Hardsuit

(...) Yeah, it is a neat trick. I've been using it with goggles for awhile (to make welding goggles) but had never really thought to use it with a visor. Couldn't see the forest for the trees. Oh, and the MOC itself is cool, very reminiscent of some (...) (21 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Giant Space Baby attack!

(...) yeah, those pics aren't particularly in focus... maybe next time I shoot a MOC, I will reshoot the frame. The frames went on clearance for half price at S@H in the US a few months ago, and I grabbed a bunch, now I just need to use em. The gray (...) (21 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Atatosomb: A Hardsuit

Wow!! That hair/visor combo is awesome! Here's another totally brickin' cool building tip I'll have to preserve on my shelf somewhere so I don't forget it. Superb work, Kevin! (...) complete (...) Gasped. Almost every time I play DDR, I keep thinking how I want to build a pair of robotic "legs" that can do like, 8 or 9 footers. That would be AWESOME. AND SHOW UP THOSE STUPID PUNKS THAT I HATE AT YORKDALE!!! Iain (21 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Shop At Home Free Shipping once again

(...) I can't say that I remember that one. I just pulled out my 'Holiday 2003' catalog and it's got a kid on the front looking at a catalog with his own picture on the front. What time of year did the 'Greatest Gifts' version come out? Was it (...) (21 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.lego)

Re: Shop At Home Free Shipping once again

(...) They did something like this last year. Not exactly for group orders but definitely aimed at the adults.   Re: Can we help?

(...) I guess the point I was trying to make is that if TLG moved production to China, they would be spending more resources on combating theft of intellectual property than what they are currently used to. I am not an economics major, but moving to (...) (21 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Can we help?

(...) Bad form to reply to my own message, but judging from some replies to my posting, I can see that I didn't make myself clear in the original posting.   Re: Shop At Home Free Shipping once again

(...) My apologies for replying to my own post... I forgot to mention one thing though. If anyone from LEGO happens upon this thread, I think it's worth at least *thinking* about publishing a parents copy of the Shop At Home catalog, even if it's (...)   Shop At Home Free Shipping once again

You've probably all seen this either in the most recent catalog to arrive, or on the website. But I thought I'd once again mention what we do at my office at this time of year.
