  Re: Onwards to rtlToronto18...

(...) I'd also be concerned that scoring this way would open the door to to "loophole bots" like Rob's (?) at RTL15 (URL) which, while I thought it exploited a clever loophole in the scoring, did somewhat disadvantage other bots that more closely (...)   Re: Onwards to rtlToronto18...

(...) You mean by counting ALL the blocks of your home colo[u]r? It seems like only counting up to the wrong color would offer a big penalty for non-sorting robots. If two non-sorting robots compete, the winner will be the lucky one, who is last to (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Onwards to rtlToronto18...

(...) No, because if I build a tower without sorting the colours, and the bottom block was the opponents colour I would get nothing for it. I'm suggesting that you should get full points for the tower, but you don't get the bonus for building it all (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Megaruota & C

Ho messo su Brickshelf alcune immagini dei miei ultimi lavoretti... trovate alcune astronavi e un progettino Mindstorms basato su una megaruota costruita con i cingoli.   Re: Mini-RCX

(...) Any idea on how I2C compares to 1-wire? I know that there 1-wire is being considered for some open-source home automation schemes because of the extremely low cost of interfacing, and the data rates seem comparable 115k for 1-wire vs. 100k for (...) (...) I can't see why not...I don't think this ever came up. (...) Isn't that just six or half of one dozen? (...) Can you though? The only person to have really found home consistently was JeffE back in rtl3/4. (...) So, you want to give people (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Problem creating .pov using LGEO parts in L3PAdd-on

(...) No, sorry, its not either of them, L3PAO knows the location correctly. the filename is ccb2.pov (mirroring the .mpd filename) and so it is not too long and has no spaces. I don't think its a problem with your auto-installer, I used to get the (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

Re: Is there an official "membership" for SciBrick?

As I'm sure you can guess, SciBrick is going through a transitional moment - basically we're really committing to (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.scibrick)
