  Re: Can we help?

(...) To be completely clear... we have NOT announced we are moving production to China. Rather we have simply been mentioning that, as good business practice, we are looking at options. As was mentioned elsewhere, 80% of the toy business has it's (...) (22 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: SciBrick is looking for you!

(...) It was more a matter of keeping the table easier to read and deal with for things like just listing members, which doesn't require a full bio and location, than of actually saving bytes. (...)   Can we help?

Dear Lego, Is there something we can do to help prevent the move to China? I know it's probably not possible, but can we show either a form of support or try to prove long term harm of the company's image (I wish Lego Co. the best, but expect the (...)   Re: Click-Rotation Parts

(...) Are there any further news on the knight parts? I wanted to start building them and found this discussion. So it would be interesting how far the proceeding is come up to now. Michael Heidemann (mikeheide) (22 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New Part: 3036p01.dat - Plate 6 x 8 with Red Side

(...) There have to be more parts like this for the set 310. I tried to model it in MLCad, but this both parts are not enought. Also why is this part not on the parts tracker? I cant find it there Michael Heidemann (mikeheide) (22 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Problem creating .pov using LGEO parts in L3PAdd-on

I have always had problems with the -lgeo (Use LGEO Library). At first I put it down to incorrect installation but I recently re-installed using the all-inone installer. My installation is to D:\Program Files but other than that is pretty much (...) (22 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: 3vil Hovertank

(...) Hmmm, very 3vil indeed. I like the overall slightly goofy (no offense your 3vilness) yet still deadly efficient feel to this hovertank. A very good addition to your already burgeoning 3vil forces. I have one or two minor complaints. Very (...) (22 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: SciBrick is looking for you!

(...) Depends how much space you need to save, I guess. If you're using varchar's or text fields (for profiles certainly), you're only adding an extra... 2 bytes for a null entry? Forget if it's 1 or 2. So maybe 18 bytes extra per member. I guess (...) (22 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.scibrick, FTX)

  Re: "Clusters" of Studs?

(...) From the way Steve explained it, it sounds like stug4 would be a 4x4 square, not a 2x2 square, in which case going from stugN to stugN+1 actually does give you another 2N+1 studs. When you think about it, by your reasoning, you'd never (...) (22 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

  Re: Pneumatikslang

(...) Hej igen. (22 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.loc.se)

(...) Il problema è che diverse persone guardano solo org.it.ilug; dall'interfaccia web vedi solo i gruppi che stanno sotto (cioé org.it.itlug.market) e non quelli che stanno sopra (org.it), spero di essere stato chiaro. Ciao! Gabriele (22 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.it)

  Re: "Clusters" of Studs?

Since I haven't authored any parts, I'm not going to go into this too deeply, but I think that square groups is a good idea. One minor note. Going from one group size to the next gives you 2 * sqrt(N) + 1 new studs, not 2N + 1. --Travis (22 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)
