  Re: Tiki altar

David, this is the first moc of yours that I really enjoyed. It is very well thought out, with a nice variety of parts. Although you really choked....you should have waited to photograph the scene with the islanders offering a virgin sacrifice. (...) (22 years ago, 24-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle)

Re: SciBrick is looking for you!

(...) Obviously Eric's post was inappropriate. Had you merely stated that Eric did not represent the organization. And, that all inquiries could be directed to SciBrick this may not have happened. (...) The question you have to ask is why have they (...) (22 years ago, 24-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.scibrick, FTX)

  Re: Cloud Cruiser police vehicle

(...) landing gear/door is a pretty nifty solution too. It looks tall enough and the engines are beefy enough that you could probably hang a couple of police mecha under the wings for transport. That'd be cool. -Grand Admiral .space Curator (URL) (22 years ago, 24-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: M2911 Plasma Pistol

(...) Mr. Soren, this weapon is perfect for airing-out 'skin-jobs'. (yeah, I know its not a direct copy of the Blade Runner weapon, but close enough) You did a nice job on the part above the trigger which I'm guessing is a safety...although I can't (...)   Most redundant Lego part

Do you ever wonder sometimes why Lego developed some particular part and say to yourself "what were they thinking?". The one piece that comes to my mind is the 1x4x2 arch. I mean it is virtually identical to the 1x4 arch plus two 1x1 bricks attached (...) (22 years ago, 24-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Set 10159 - City Airport

(...) By nose cone I meant this piece: (URL) I don't see why TLG would need to replace it since it a fairly new piece. (1994). I looked at the zoomed in picture on S@H and I couldn't see the holes for the studs. But I was relieved when I see they (...) (22 years ago, 24-Oct-04, to lugnet.reviews)

Re: Rocket science, & some MOC ideas (Was: Combat strategies and tactics in space)

I found your post very interesting, and you proposed some nice ideas of MOCs. I really liked the idea of laser propelled vessel (a bit like the space elevator project) But, after all, this is science fiction, right? That makes one relatively free to (...)   Re: LEGO Article in GAMES magazine

Attack of the Snowman Clones! That cover looks great, Eric. Excellent idea to use Bruce's sphere for a snowman. And quite the honor to get a six-page write in Games! I very much look forward to picking up a copy! Much congratulations, -Brendan (22 years ago, 24-Oct-04, to lugnet.mediawatch, FTX)
