Re: Jar Jar will probably be back

(...) Oh. [looks around] Umm, where? Steve (27 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2 Things...

(...) I could make the subject line one size larger in the compact listings, if that would help. It's at SIZE="-2" now, and it could probably go to SIZE="-1" and still fit 20 messages on a 800x600 laptop display. (...) OK, give that a shot now. (...) (27 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

  serial interface building

A group of us are building the HB and we are at the serial interface building stage. When we perform the test on the serial interface to get +9 or +10 volts, we are all getting values of up to +8.5 only. Is there a problem or is this normal? Thanks (...)   A lurkers opinion (formerly: Re: 2 Things...)

OK, you've forced me out of lurkerdom with the new interface. I realize as a lurker, my opinions may be less valuable than some, but since you seem to be open to suggestions... I like seeing the recent news on the front page, but I would prefer to (...) (27 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) The sub-categories at the top? What browser are you using, what OS, what screen mode, and what monitor size? And do you have Verdana or Arial? --Todd (27 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Jar Jar will probably be back

(...) Seems like there was *some* blood, just not a puddle. I remember being pretty shocked the first time I saw the shot of the arm. Steve (27 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: New MOC:TGV in Orange

(...) So far I've seen that shock absorber in 4559 Cargo Railway (the gates are sprung) and 2160 Crystal Scavenger (the "drill" arms can swing and are sprung). I'm only 95% sure of 2160 (it might have been another set I inventoried recently - need (...) (27 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Fallingwater

I finally put together a web page presentation of my model of Fallingwater by Frank Lloyd Wright. Thanks again to Jacob for the fractal landscape generator. (10,000+ parts for the land takes *forever* to render in POV) The DAT file is available on (...) (27 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.publish)

  Re: 2 Things...

(...) OK, lots of other people were having the same gripe about it. It's fixed now. (...) You're saying you have an issue of readability with the font size? Can you send a screenshot? (...) What if clicking "Brief" gave you #96-#77, and clicking (...) (27 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 2 Things...

(...) And, as I forgot to mention, the text size is also too small (for me) to be comfortably scanned on the compact listings (and presumably on the others, as well) (...) OO! OO! Tried it. Liked it. No further testing necessary. Now, if only I (...) (27 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Playmobil for Lego

Hi Tim, Details, please! I collect both, and prefer similar themes in both - ergo, castle Playmobil (for example) is more desireable than space Lego. I too wish there was a Playmobil group - from the ebay traffic alone it seems there must be some (...) (27 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  GP2D02

I am having trouble getting the IR sensor to show values on the LCD screen. I am confident that it is finally hooked up correctly. The following is what is included in the list file to automatically download into the board: explego.icb lib_hb.icb (...) (27 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: 2 Things...

(...) Yes and no. I hadn't actually noticed that yet when I posted that, but yes, I find the quoted text too small/light/hard to read. I thought it worked quite well when quoted text was simply italicized and faded once, rather than getting (...) (27 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 2 Things...

(...) Was this before or after the additional text was added?-- Looking for a LEGO set by number? Try Here! ~~~...~~~ (That's what comes up at the top if you type in a numeric query. The "Try here" part is a link into the sets-DB.) (...) Aha, OK, (...) (27 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Warbonnet pics up
