Re: Reconstructing second hand LEGO sets

For the sets I think I've identified I've gone to K Loch's Instruction Scans site and worked through the reconstructions substituting off-color parts as needed just to make progress. But the trouble is not with the sets I can easily pick out from (...) (27 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Small Town and Pirate auction Update3

This is the third update, and while I've had a few more people roll onto the scene, their bids are getting eclipsed. ther might not be a posting tomorrow night, but if there isn't then there will surely be one on Sunday. Also, I will try to start (...) (27 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Hello

Hello, This is my first message to any of the groups on Lugnet. I have been lurking for a few days and I have found that I like this place a lot better than RTL. No killfiling hundreds of auctions! I really don't have a whole lot to say as of now, (...) (27 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Reconstructing second hand LEGO sets

One thing I can suggest.. someone else could probably give you the exact addy... Looks around for Todd :) there is a inventory group.. gives you inventories on some of the sets.. I'm not sure how many are listed there though... you could print out a (...) (27 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

  Reconstructing second hand LEGO sets

I recently bought a medium size jumble of LEGO pieces and am trying to sleuth out and reconstruct the original sets (there are no instructions). I've done extensive browsing through the Fibblesnork LEGO Guide identifying candidate sets from some of (...) (27 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: legOS make newbe question

Thanks for helping me through this, but nope, That was a mistake when I typed it into the message. The makefile.common has the slashes placed as you show them.. I put Makefile.common and makefile into the LegOS demo directory, Is this the correct (...) (27 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: Star Wars vs Titanic (humour)

(...) Those were good! Thanks. :-) BTW, I just read about SW's "Fan Day" - the grassroots effort to get people to go see SW-EP1 TPM "as many times as you can stand". It is an effort to push the movies ticket sales past Titanic's. Seems to me that if (...) (27 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Lab View

Thanks for the info Rob. I have acces to both labview 4.1 and 5. This is also the only code I can program in at the moment, and starting to use it quit a bit at work now. I have done C, assembly, and Pascel but that was years ago. I guess this would (...) (27 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: MPD Files?

(...) Ah my young Padewan, MPD (Multi-Part Dat) originally was intended as a simple way of distributing a model that had multiple DAT files. The idea was to have a program that would gather together all the subfiles of a model and write them into (...) (27 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Anyone else try to order set 8448?

(...) I just spoke with customer support, and they said that it isn't to start shipping until the end of August now.   Anyone else try to order set 8448?

I called S@H as soon as it was on the web site. After two delays, it looks like "unexpected delays" will keep it from showing up until the end of August. Has anyone else experienced similar delays when ordering from S@H? -mark (27 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Lab View

As far as I can tell Robolab is really a slightly trimmed version of Labview, with the bulk of the standard Labview VIs removed. More important however, is the fact that since the RCX is a remote device, you don't really make use of it in the same (...) (27 years ago, 19-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics)
