New Items, New "Philosophy" at JABA

Well, I just put 12 or 13 lots up at JABA, my auction site. Here's a link to all of them: (URL) going with something a little different this time. Instead of trying to break up 5 or 10 sets into lots ranging from tiny to medium sized, I'm lumping (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Hej, jag är ny här!

Hmm, jo, det verkar ganska dött här. Jag har varit på både din och din sons lego-sidor. De är väldigt bra! ~Tobias (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.loc.se)

  New release of Train

Why not just write them to do a rerelease of the Metroliner in another color. Then they wont have to do sevice packs and everone could get the metroliner again. We would get a whole bunch of train doors and windows and the roof and nose peices. they (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Lego Dragons

(...) Keith, This is similar to the problem that I had for years with walkers, mecha, what have you. I just didn't know where to start when it came to leg articulation. When I was a kid I just used 2x1 horizontal hinges, but when I came out of my (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Little Chef sets NEW!

Right now McDonald's is running a Teenie Beanie Baby promotion so I doubt they would run a LEGO promotion at the same time. The Beanie Baby promotion just started and I think it runs for 10 or 12 weeks with a different Beanie Baby each week. I don't (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Upon Furthur Review... and something to look for

(...) Maybe he hadn't trained that way? Maybe the second half was damaged (what are the chances of Obi-wan scoring a direct hit on the center joint?) Maybe because it would have caused Obi-wan to sneer, pull out his gun, and blow Darth Maul away. (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: How big is your VEC dir?

(...) Just to provide a more-or-less final answer to this question, Image Magick includes mogrify.exe, which is designed to do mass file conversions. Using mogrify, I converted all the VEC images to BMP-RLE format. Which took the VEC down to 6.5MB. (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: I only have on thing to say...

(...) No, no, no: chrome *slopes*. That's the ticket. Steve (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Ep1 peeves (includes spoilers)

(...) Hey! No fair taking two peeves in one hit! The jedi (especially Qui-Gon) were just too cool and collected. This is noticeable in other parts of the movie. Maybe the breathing devices were good for other environments as well? Even so, it was a (...) (26 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)
