I will tell you what the book said. The book noted that those barriers are a security device designed to slow down and halt intruders getting close to the basement area of the palace. I think that if you POV Ray it then it should be decent quality(AA on). But say I do one of just the model and then one of the model with a background then they really should be the same when being judged. This only seems fair because some (...) (26 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

I like the idea of a letter writing campaign. (Gee, I wonder if Susan Williams has an email address? ;-) I also think Larry P. makes a good couple of points: keep the kit(s) small and 'focused'; Have a mix of colors in the kit(s). I like the ideas, (...) (26 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.trains)

Ben, Something to consider too, 60% of the decision is based on creativity/originality, only 40% on the engineering. That makes me think they are going to lean towards orginal designs, not models of existing Starwars ships. I'm going to submit my (...) (26 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)
