I don't think speed is a problem. I was running an early version of Robolab on a 604e/132MHz. It was annoyingly slow to use, but it was able to talk with the RCX. You may want to try the IR tower in both "near" and "far" modes (that's the switch on (...) (26 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I believe the Gungans played an important role from a 'Force' perspective. In order for Anakin to destroy the control ship, the Force must have been with him. My main peeve about Episode I was the way they left behind Anakin's mother. With the support of the Jedi Council and the fortunes of the planet, Naboo, I am sure someone could have bartered for the freedom of Shmi Skywalker at the end of the movie. (...)
