I am going to be starting a letter campaign to Lego to try and get them to provide service packs with train windows and doors. I would like to get feedback from other people as to what they would like in a service pack as far as ratios of windows to (...) (26 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.trains)

i think that we should limit it to: up to update 99-03 (the one with the backpack) + contest parts made avaliable on the contest web page (such as the wing pieces and the engine piece and others). that way cad models would not be at any great (...) (26 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

I don't think speed is a problem. I was running an early version of Robolab on a 604e/132MHz. It was annoyingly slow to use, but it was able to talk with the RCX. You may want to try the IR tower in both "near" and "far" modes (that's the switch on (...) (26 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.robotics)

David Jost still holds the high bid at $35.00. As much as I'd love for Dave to win the set (hell, i'd love for anyone to win the set, as long as I win some money), $35.00 is a pitance for such a fine set! Where are you, bidders? My main peeve about Episode I was the way they left behind Anakin's mother. With the support of the Jedi Council and the fortunes of the planet, Naboo, I am sure someone could have bartered for the freedom of Shmi Skywalker at the end of the movie. (...)
