  Re: K

Jon I like that very much, the design is very different. I think this is hands down your best alpha SO FAR! I can't wait to see the rest. I do hope that you keep all these together so you can take to conference and show them all off. You don't (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Throwing one out to the .space peeps

Boy there's been some interesting discussion here this week. I love delving deeper into the subject as well as merely admiring MOCs. Speaking as one who missed this revolution you speak, all I know is that between putting down Lego in 1982 and (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Personaly I'd just stick this whole thing in the x691.dat file and use the line: 1 16 0 0 0 -1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 x691.dat for the x692.dat file. (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Throwing one out to the .space peeps

(...) Heh, definitely! Before I downloaded a renderer or used a digicam, I constantly found it a burden to take apart my models, so I had to document them the *old fashioned way*, using pencil and paper... nice thing about that is that I don't need (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Kmart Prices / TRU stocktake

(...) Really? Last week I picked up Privet Drive from Myer Melbourne at 20% off and when I went into Kmart this afternoon they had little slips of paper on the shelves that seemed to indicate they had 20% off Lego. -Matt W (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) I think it would make a BIG difference if more 'large pic' posters would just CROP their pics a lot more, unless of course it's a story & the background is part of it. Otherwise I don't need to see those pillows in the baskground. Jeff (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Giant Brickshelf images...

Kevin, The multi-megapixel camera dumps onto Brickshelf are becoming an epidemic. I'm sure most people don't have the patience to wait for a blurry 3 megapixel shot of a tiny MOC to load. Is there any chance you could resample pics above a certain (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)
