Re: Legoporr - orsak till avsked

(...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.se)

Re: Need help to guesstimate the size of my collection!

(...) I'd second that guess. I have about 193K _that is identifiable_ as being in my collection, and it probably takes 2x your volume at least for storage. I'd guess I have more like 250K pieces, but that is a guess, whereas the 193K is a minimum (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Tri-axle Prussian State Railroad Coaches

<dry> Wow, John, I thought you'd never ask! </dry> Very simple idea that was originaly inspired by Jermey Rear (PNLTC). Jeremy stuck a drk gray light saber blade thru the side stud of a 1x1 headlight brick, then attached a minifig hand to it. I was (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Need help to guesstimate the size of my collection!

(...) I have a pretty accurate count of my bricks, and I weigh in at 203,000 bricks. At a rough guess, I'd say my collection is a bit more than what you've got in the picture volume-wise. I'd guess about 150,000 is shown in the picture-- and if (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Inspired by new HST set 4511

(...) The idea for the dome car uses non-existant-to-us trans-dark-gray 4x6 dual 45 degree slope roof elements. :-( So, no real-brick build unless 2x4 45 degree slopes are substituted. I wonder how rare 2x4 45 degree trans-clear slopes are? (...) (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Is Lego false advertising the new 2003 sets?

I suspect it is just really good box art (or really bad depending on how you look at it). LEGO has done this in the past with other sets, most notably the Trans-Neon-Green color. Troy "Mark P" <mark@landofbricks.com> wrote in message (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Television Demo

Hi folks, Chris and I have been asked by a television show to come on live and do a segment with them about Lego robots and enthusiasts. The date is yet to be set, but it seems more or less positive so far in our conversations. We're looking around (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

To do the vehicle scene, I bought a large sheet of fluorescent pink/magenta art paper and photographed the models on it (and also making sure the paper was evenly lit).   Re: Tri-axle Prussian State Railroad Coaches

I have actually built these and haven't had access to a good camera, maybe tomorrow. They actually run very well forward, being pulled, but tend to bind up a bit running backwards, being pushed. The renderings are slightly different from what I (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

  New Hailfire droid
