  Re: Train 4: Coming Soon

(...) I got my stuff just about ready... I might think about making some more "RTL-approved" (Jeff VW verion 2) containers, and few other things. I am basically ready. (...) I have 6 "non-'RTL Toronto'-approved" modules. I brought them to Train2 (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Inspired by new HST set 4511

Upon seeing the new high speed train set 4511, I have tried a reverse design immitation. (URL) model has working headlights. The side-sloping nose does stick out slightly wider than 6-wide, plus the knobs on the side are a bit out of place. Looking (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: LEGO Legend #10041 European prices and shipping

(...) Ok, it's a valid point to explain *the existance* of a difference. Still, we are paying the same €5 difference in both the SFSC cars and #10041; since the base prices are different and VAT is a percentage of it, one of two things is happening: (...)   Re: MINI's in my hands, WOW!!

(...) When I'd seen the TIE Bomber and Geonosian Fighter and Jabba's Message & Prize at one Toys R Us and the AT-TE and Skyhopper at another Toys R Us, but had YET to see any minis there or at Target, I got tired of waiting and ordered two of the (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) glance. (...) Thanks. The windscreen give me the Idea to modelize the tram. I find this vehicule had a nice design. I used small train wheels for the cabins and the 2 connection modules. The tram is 6 de large and the fairings is applied over (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: MOC: Y-Wing Starfighter

(...) superior in a few key areas: A) the shape of the cockpit area. LEGO's model was too flat on the bottom, and while it's gently sloping sides are nice, your use of a slightly rounded underside definitely makes up for the slightly jagged sides. (...)   Re: Pipe Racers Demo Videos

(...) I'd favour Trevyn's method over cement, because the whole idea is that the track is reconfigurable from round to round. If the cement hardens, won't it be permanent? I dont' really want to be dynamically supporting the maze, because it might (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: LEGO Legend #10041 European prices and shipping

(...) Tax pressure (V.A.T) in Europe is much higher as in North America. If i'm not mistaken, TLC has a production facility in the USA also. With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.eu)

  Re: Understanding Leaks

(...) I don't know. I didn't notice something last year. But if it did happen, and they it was banned by TLC in 2002, it seemds very strange that they would have made the same mistake this year. With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)
