  Re: TECHNIC IS NOT DEAD!!!

(...) I'm not sure about that, perhaps the liftarm is just to support the knob. (...) I think the red thing is just the handle at the end of the hose. (...) That was also my initial thought. But... I think it's too good to be true. (...) Wow! What a (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

Re: Question about the Future of LDraw CAD family.

(...) Actually, I just thought of some other leads. If you are looking for a general 3D modeler to create parts, you can find several awesome freeware ones at (URL) recommend that you check out anim8or and wings 3d - they both have excellent (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Sculpture panel at BricksWest

Like last year, there will be a panel at BricksWest for sculptures. I am organizing it, and would like to invite LEGO sculptors from around the world to participate. The panel is scheduled tentatively for Sunday Feb 16 at 10am. If you're interested (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.events.brickswest)

Re: New RCX sensor: Wire guidance sensor

(...) Actually the first vehicle I used to test this sensor is a rack-and-pinion steered car, see a short video (Divx3) here: (URL) This is what I did with my SteerBot as well as (...) Documentation is also why I used a standard roverbot to (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: New RCX sensor: Wire guidance sensor

Hi Rob and Ross, (...) Sorry, I have neither time nor structure to do that... (...) I hope so ! (...) I have not tested that (my longest track is about 5 meters), but as actual current is fairly low I think that wire can be quite long. I used thin (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: New RCX sensor: Wire guidance sensor

Hello Stef, (...) Thanks ;o) (...) That might work, but getting a high enough field to be detected and be immune to external sources (including earth magnetic field!) would require a LARGE current, not very practical... Philo www.philohome.com (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

  Calling for BricksWest train sessions

Hi All, Listed below are the current train sessions that are being presented at BW 2003. If you are interested in presenting or co-presenting a session please LMK. There's no topic concerning electronics or Mindstorms etc., that would be great. How (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

  MOC: Y-Wing Starfighter

Hi guys. I finally got around to posting my Y-Wing. It uses a 1 foot:1 stud scale; smaller than my original but far more accurate. Y-Wing - (URL) Gold Leader to pilot - (URL) let me know what you think of it. Thanks ---...--- -Bruce Brucey-Wan's (...)   Re: The Vegetable Fighter Project continues: Carrot-wing Fighter

Yep, just as soon as i replace my printer and decide on a right type face... i normally shy away from adding foreign elements (since i'm a bit of a not-too-strict purist) but i think i'll make an exception on this particular project. ace (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: avete dato un occhiata ai link per le foto dei nuovi set ?

...si! Ho dato un'occhiata anche ai prezzi :-( ed ho la netta sensazione che ci sia qualcosa di sbagliato... Ciao. Alessandro (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.it)

Re: Concerning this new train poll

(...) Hi Harvey, it has been me, who criticised your poll. Larry was only jumping in much later in the thread and he did not even uttered your name, was NOT speaking about your poll, but about making up polls in general. ***...*** Really, if people (...)   Re: 2003 Trains - great!

(...) I had nearly the same thought, Erik. The quality of these pictures is not so much better tham those in my year 2000 april fools joke. Models are dark and fuzzy, track is missing and the models are photographed in a way that they are partly out (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Blue Express passenger train with a cool front (?)

(...) Thanks for sharing this surprising design. Very well done! And your other brickshelf galleries (especially the bridges and the station) are worth to be visited as well - long time ago, since I had visited them. Kind Regards, Ben (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: MOC: All Terrain Crane

(...) My in-mind project might be something like 70 cm long (1:20) and that's all I have to say about that for now :) (...) Or you could have the text above or below the pictures, not on the sides of 'em :) /Tobbe (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic)

  Re: TECHNIC IS NOT DEAD!!!

  Re: TECHNIC IS NOT DEAD!!!

(...) The hose I most likely a thing for the non-existing (?) Technic figures to run around spraying with. The red bit is probably the noozle.

Ciao Giuliano Beduglio (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.it)

Re: The Vegetable Fighter Project continues: Carrot-wing Fighter

LOL, Gil...I actually told Ace he should christen it the Beta Carotene a few days ago on FBTB! He said he was actually going to do it!   Re: 2003 Trains - great!

(...) Yes, and it was very clever of him to comment on the sets as if he had never seen them before. I'll bet the dark gray spray paint was still on his fingers when he posted! Crafty Ben..... "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice...." ;-) JOHN (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)
