  Re: workaround.patch for h8300-hms-ld crash

(...) No problem. Stupid lugnet server stripped out the attachments. Here is the patch, both attached and inline. BrickOS maintainers: How about applying (some ideas from) this patch? Max Index: Makefile.user ===...=== RCS file: (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  The minipod!!!

Militaries were tired of their pod scouts being blown up on recon missions with a valuable soldier inside, so they turned to the newest pod technology... UMPRV (Un-Manned Pod Recon Vehicle) Not only is it unmanned, but it's smaller and less (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

In lugnet.trains (and a bazillion other groups), Larry Pieniazek writes: <snip 2 things> OK, 3 things... 3. (...) This is way cool. Two things: 1. it would have been nice to give more advance notice of this, if it was available... this is the sort of thing that some people would fly out for if they had enough notice. 2. will Knott's be honoring 2002 (...) I can't believe this... Bionicle is IN and regular blocks are OUT!!! Sic: "Lego's Bionicles, which are like little Lego robot people, are in. Old square Legos, that kids had to actually use some creativity to assemble, are passe." You can read the (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.loc.us.ma)

(...) Um, I'm not sure I gave a very good reference to the "big round thing"... the part I am talking about appears to be at least 10 studs in diameter and is a ring, it's dark grey. There is one on each side and the ship or whatever it is is built (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

One last HoverBike for you comic fans

This afternoon I was a little bored and I had an idea for one last HoverBike. So I sat down and started to build to see if it would look half decent. This is just a little funny one to brighten up your day. Enjoy :) The Web Slinger Driver: (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Nieuwe treinen voor 2003?

Re: Transmitting time USB vs serial

(...) Michael, I tried your programs on Windows and Linux. On Windows 98 the USB tower takes about one second to reply (990 - 1100ms). On Linux it took about 9 seconds as you indicate. This looks like a problem with the Linux USB driver. I will ask (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)

(22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.nl)

  Random coordinates?

Hi All! Is there a way in POV-Ray 3.5 to create an object that appears within a range of coordinates but at random coordinates each time a scene is rendered? Thanks for any insights you care to provide. Dave! (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)
