  Re: MOC: Sunstreak Hoverbike

Thankye sir! To support the frame, it gets significantly less milage and lesser exceleration. It's not when you cross the finish line, it's how you look when you get there :) Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Dragonfly Hoverbike

Wow, that has a very unique shape, very cool color scheme, and a very cool Fleebnork engine. This looks like a really powerful MOC! I can imagine it roaring down the circuts... Anybody notice the renaming of our little corner of lugnet to (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

More fun stuff Andrew. I think the Alpha Stalker is my pick of the lot...that heavy nose looks laden with ramming menace. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: My new MOC : Medieval fortified town

(...) a town of that size and detail?? I like the raised ground level so you can have basements. Nice touch. Did you put duplos inside the ground or something? If you pull off a whole town of that size/detail, that would be amazing. e. (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: A Generic Idea

(...) "All ideas are stupid until someone proves they work." :D No, I've been thinking the same thing. (So it can't be stupid haha). A PDA with built-in webcam (and mike) + hotwiring an RCX input to a serial port on the PDA would probably be the (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Large LDraw/MPD Files?

Hi Tim, I've been working on a model with lots of synthesized pneumatic hoses, and it is about 16M (it qualifies as large). I found that LPub didn't handle this well at all. It would not choke, but it took a very long time. I tracked it down to (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: MOC: Starship Cygnus

(...) Thanks I'm a terrible judge of weight but i would guess 50-60lbs? i can't pick the whole thing up, it's a lil wobbly, so i move it in 3-4level sections at a time. It's got 0 wooshability. :) Jeb (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: 4 HoverBikes waiting to join the circuit

You know, when Chris first put out the call, I thought, 'This is so Jamie's thing.' Must be the job you've done on smaller models like your rickshaw. Very pleased to have guessed right...such and eclectic collections of machines. Each one has such (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: A Generic Idea

(...) Hmm I chose cel phones because they are pretty standard products (unlike Radio links etc), simple to use (few presses) and so on, but of course, any link to a unit with memory/cpu could be an expansion... (...) ...Like an IR link to another (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: MOC: Starship Cygnus

Wow. That is a great combo of sculpting and traditional building....what an interesting shape. I've never seen anything from Homeworld, but a few builders here seem to derive some inspiration from it...have to check it out. I am particuliarly (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: A Generic Idea

Thanks for all the modem input guys, but I think you're getting too ambitious! The communication I was thinking of would consist of maybe dialling+10 button presses on the cel phone. The other end would be waiting for these combinations, just like (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: TECHNIC IS NOT DEAD!!!

(...) I think the blue thing is supposed to be a hose reel. The white bit with the trans blue thing on top? That's a light bar isn't it? Mark (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Technic is not dead!!!

(...) Yes, on second thought, that makes more sense. I guess I was just seeing the wheels and not thinking of much else. Allan B. (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

Where can I find part 65401?

I know that I had this part at one time. It's that steering arm with 3 ball joints from the 8448. I cannot find it any place I look. The only references to it say that it is in an MPD that I already have and it is not in there. I would appreciate (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
