Re: Submit-A-Link on LEGO on my mind

Eric, When I clicked on the link you list below I got a 404. I pulled down the bookmark for you site and went in that way. The I copied the URL that appeared in my address field and put it below. (URL) link works, but if you follow it you will not (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Suggestion for part authors

(...) Good suggestion John. Something else for the QA process. I think I mentioned this before, but it would be real neat if there were a super-wireframe mode that rendered all optional lines. Any chance of this sometime in the future please, Paul ? (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Assembly tool?

Hello, I was wondering what tool I need to compile the pbFORTH asm files. I have the tools that are used for legOS--is there something there that can assemble the asm files? Thanks, Jonathan (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

  Re: "Angry" Qui-Gonn head

(...) The Cape sure doesn't help any, either. The reason TLG split the stud is because the heads would frequently get stuck in helmets. If it has ever happened to you, you know they are nearly imposible to get out. In fact, I still have some heads (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

HUGE Technic, Space and Promo Auction

Hi, I added more Lego sets to my auctions on eBay. This week's offerings have a lot of unusual sets from the Space and Technic themes. Also, I have several smaller promotional sets from various countries from the Adventurers and Castle (Classic, (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Part Name Question

(...) Now that I think about it, it probably isn't necessary. I had a hard time positioning things on the end using John's mock-up, but I just realized it was probably because he was using one of the 'stud' primitives. So, Nevermind. ;) Jeff (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: "Angry" Qui-Gonn head

(...) Yes, too much forehead. Definitely 'adds to the charm'. :( And I don't care much for the texture of the new hair pieces. I wish they were more like the old hair pieces. Steve (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: "Angry" Qui-Gonn head

(...) Definitly seems like too much forehead although even with all the forehead in the trailer. Has anyone noticed that some of the new hair pieces seem a little loose. Especially on Qui-Gonn? Eric Visit me at: (URL) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Part Name Question

(...) Hadn't thought about that. Is it that important to view a stud instead of a line in LEdit? Seems like this piece has a 'normal geometry', so that it wouldn't make sense to defeat the line-as-stud option. (...) Yes. Steve (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Suggestion for part authors

Just thought I'd mention that the wireframe view in LDLite is a great tool for part authors to check the edge lines and conditional lines in their parts before submission. Edge line omissions are usually much more obvious in this view, so take a (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) There's a Sort function, but it sorts by position, bottom-to-top, back-to-front.   Endor Luke

I was just wondering why TLG did not just give Luke a removeable camouflaged poncho using the cloth material. I wish TLG had give him a torso like Darth Maul so that one could replicate the final duel between Luke and Vader. Other than that minor (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)
