  Re: The XR20 Tadpole.

That's cool. The back contrasts nicely with the front. The greeblies are nice, and the whole thing looks like a really swift, sleek small ship. It has a nice look around it, that canopy is always cool. -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 29-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Anything good in Boxing Day sales?

(...) Zellers recently cut the price of the Bionicle Bohrok series down to about $4.97, half of what they used to cost. I bought a 8210 Nitro Bike GTX (a 1995 Technic set!) for $0.01 at a Zellers a couple days ago, but it was probably the only one (...) (22 years ago, 29-Dec-02, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Alien Fighter+a variation on a theme by Jon Palmer

(...) Glad you liked it, Kyle. In my next MOC (ISD-spurred) I plan to use color blocking, Mladalen-style. But I'm glad the colors worked well. Though, since it is supposed to be 'junky,' it could be excused even if it didn't work. (...) Working on (...) (22 years ago, 29-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: The XR20 Tadpole.

Neato Tim. The black looks good sticking out of the smooth white.. good contrast. And those bombs are nice, but what peice is that right after the 1x1 w/ fins? Looks unlego to me. You and minifigs.. always a strange combination... (...) (22 years ago, 29-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Review of 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer

(...) I'm not sure if it was only me, but I noticed some discrepancies with the deflector shield domes ("golf balls").   Re: Displacement Tonnage for Spaceships?

Sounds cool. Of course, the 5-foot high wall thing is a bit off, but for the sake of simplicity we can say that 8x8x5 studs equals ton. Sounds like a cool idea! I wonder if the actual measurements taken in the game RPG Traveller is true, though. (...) (22 years ago, 29-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  NQC for BeOS

Hi, I've uploaded my port of NQC 2.4.r3 to the BeOS. You can find it here: (URL) looking for help with the USB driver, anyone can help? Regards Gabriele Biffi (22 years ago, 29-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: Displacement Tonnage for Spaceships?

Soudns inneresting, but waaaaay too complicated. Counting the length of my ships is bad enough, let alone calcuating anything. I prefer to call my stuff big, really big, insanely big, and ludicris big. But I think Jon's SHIP term is good enough for (...) (22 years ago, 29-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

  The XR20 Tadpole.

Hello All. I've built something new. The XR20 Tadpole, it is just a small atmospheric bomber.   Displacement Tonnage for Spaceships?

That's a cool ship. I dunno about it's storyline, but just looking at it its a cool ship, with nice angles and colors. I think you did it pretty well. I don't particullarly like modifying parts, but here it's sort of 'O.K.' Good job, very cool! -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 29-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)
