  Crane pieces

Are there any service packs available through S@H that would enable you to build a crane??? Eric (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Questions about 2 things

(...) Yup, and I looked at both of mine last night. Didn't see any set/part numbers on them, but my Large Blue one had "(c) 1983" among the standard Lego Info. I know I got the blue one after I got the red one, but they may've been made the same (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Insectoids Polybag #6943 - Some Alternate Models  [DAT]

(...) Oops. I did *have* the MPD built. I just copied in the wrong file. Sorry. I guess Terry shouldn't be the only recipient of my carelessness (when I send him new parts, I regularly forget to attach the part-file). Here's the whole thing: 0 FILE (...)   Re: Help Identify these pieces...

(...) As people have said, most of these are rather common. If you have any other pieces that look like they could be from a space set, post the list. maybe we can figure out what sets the pieces are from. :) (...) I love that Sprint Racer. ;) The (...)   RE: Curved walls

This is one of my favorite sites for LegoSurfing. Of course this curved wall link begs the question: What is the best way to acquire the 1x1 rounds (especially white ones)? I can see R2-D2's body materializing in Legos in front of me, but I ran out (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: A few short SW nitpicks

  Re: new part description changes?

(...) VEC. (...) OK I own up to this one, and playing devil's advocate here - why is the category plural *Plants*, we dont have *Baseplates*, *Bricks*, etc ? Chris (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: How complete R U?

(...) Well, as I do not keep the package, 1462 = 1692 to me! (...) Of all the sets that were regulairly available in the Netherlands, I own all the sub-theme's, except the Mega/Magma Core Magnetizer (M:TRON) I am currently on two quests: 1) all (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Modeling correctly ? (was Re: Building exhaustion)

I just file all of those under Lego scale and not worry about it. If you compare any scale in lego, everything is off, so I just think it is the Lego world, and the clever Lego engineers build things in terms of the need. I have several projects (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Voting Page

(...) Obviously a failure in my QA process - I'll fix them for the release (assuming they get through the vote). Chris (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: what is the rarest piece

I would have to nominate that staircase in the Paradisa line, I think it was in Poolside Paradise and the lighthouse, both pink, very interesting. One of the only times they addressed the second floor issue. Scott Sanburn (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Do you separate old vs. new LEGO?

I don't, simply because most of my collection falls under the "new" category, if I think I know what Gary is talking about. ;) The only separation I do though is putting the Town Junior parts (I.E. Car bodies, those horrible arch things, etc.) into (...) (26 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Piece sorting (was: building exhaustion)

  Steerable town rig

I've made a very small rig to the scale of the minifigs. It has articulated central steering, which is operated by turning the yellow light on the top.
