  Re: Suggestion for LDraw FAQ

(...) Good ideas. My suggestion (to tie into the look and feel and professional style of ldraw.org) would be to rephrase the questions to be a little bit more formal. ie: change 'What is this LDraw Thing?' to 'What is LDraw?' and 'Mailing list?!? (...) (26 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

Re: If only I could afford a ... webcam? / Re: Fishing for a tasty linkage/gearing/robotic building thread...

  Re: Payment to the UK

I'll keep this in mind. Thanks to all who replied. Time was growing short, so I took the $8.50 option. Next time I need to factor all costs (hidden or otherwise) before making a deal. Oh well... not a terrible loss. Thanks for the help. -Rob (...) (26 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: New Freestyle Train Cars and Truck

(...) That'd be from the first Blacktron base. I think it was called "Message Interceptor Base". A side note: that was a FOTY for me. Actually, my mom found that set for me at a garage sale about one year ago. I think she paid about $8 for it. It (...) (26 years ago, 13-May-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: lego color names (what color is the starwars windscreen)

(...) I'd say Trans-Dark Gray. It is not really a shade of brown, it is too light to be Trans-Black, and Trans-Smokey was just used until we could get our hands on one and see what color it was. Jeff (26 years ago, 13-May-99, to lugnet.db.inv)

If only I could afford a ... webcam? / Re: Fishing for a tasty linkage/gearing/robotic building thread...

Wes: If you did have a digital camera, would you mount it on a 'bot to create a dirigible webcam?   IR routines
