SNIP

I long for the exciting days of Adaptive transmission, syncro drive and
tri-wheelers.

What are adaptive transmission, syncro drive and tri-wheelers?

SNIP
A large and steerable walker (AT-AT?) using pneumatics or gears

What's AT-AT mean?

incorporating any of the throwbot ball-joint elements in anything.

I'm also fascinated by walking cycles and limbs. I mean, wheels are fine in designed
micro-environments but I expect that more challenging environments demand something more
sophisticated, right?
