The real challenge would be transmitting the images back to the computer. Using cables puts the cambot
on a leash. I wonder if anyone has a camera that uses IR to transfer the images to a PC?

This problem has already been solved - the RCX IR port can easily be used for remote control of
movement. I'm sure a Java applet could be designed that would allow control of cambot via the web;
pretty easily. If cambot used a video rather than a still camera real-time control would be a snap -
given enough bandwidth to the web.
