  Re: Ultrasonic Rangefinder

(...) Better yet - can you make this available by ftp or on a web site somewhere? I too have an old autofocus Polaroid camera (can't remember the model) and would like to use the ultrasonic gubbins from it. Thanks Pete (27 years ago, 22-Sep-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Ultrasonic Rangefinder

(...) Hi Eric (...) The answer is no, what I used is the schematic diagram for the Polaroid 6500 rangefinder board. the circuit is almost identical exept for a transistor preamp betwen the transducer and the receiver. The only way I can initiate a (...) (27 years ago, 22-Sep-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  polaroid transducers

does anybody out there have any schematics for using the polaroid transducers on the handyboard, I have two such transducers, but havint got a clue how they work or how to connect them to the handyboard. I'm also very interested in what Bill Richman (...) (27 years ago, 21-Sep-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Ultrasonic Rangefinder

I've used the sonar board and transducer from several Polaroid "Pronto Land Cameras" for just that purpose in that past. I don't know how these compare to the Spectra; I would assume they're similar if not identical. There was an article in an old (...) (27 years ago, 21-Sep-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Ultrasonic Rangefinder

Did anyone ever opened up a Polaroid Spectra Instant camera? I did. The sonar rangefinder is almost identical to the Polaroid 6500 exept there are some problems that I encountered 1) BLNK and BINH have no efect on the ECHO output 2) The ECHO signal (...)   Re: fun under the sun...

From the "other" mailing list I'm on (BEAM robotics), try: www.solarbotics.com They have a lot of parts and information for solar powered robots. I've bought stuff from them and had good experiences. (Although getting a flimsy bubble-pack envelope (...) (27 years ago, 20-Sep-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  fun under the sun...

Hey folks looking for a cheap source of solar cells... I wanna make something around 8 volts and between .5 to 1 amp The load will be that of a "modified" rc car motor (ball bearings, slot armature, 15 winds) Any help would be greatly appreciated (...)   Re: Pseudocode

I think what you may be wondering is how does the code do all this at once instead of sequentially as normal code runs. If you are not wondering this then I'll tell you anyway. The awesome feature of the handyboard is the pcode. The pcode is a (...) (27 years ago, 20-Sep-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
