Re: can nqc control index of values?

You can't explicitly assign variables to slots, but the allocation is simple enough - they get allocated in the same order they are declared, starting with 0. I can't promise that the allocation order will never change, but on the other hand I can't (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: TLG 'DOES' read this...

(...) Say what???? Mindstorms is $200. 4 of them should only be $800, shouldn't it? What's the extra $100 for? (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Variations on the "ADDER SUBTRACTOR" ("differtrans" ?)

In article <F68MH0.CAq@lugnet.com>, Cyberia <cyberia@erols.com> writes (...) May I suggest "sumdiff"? It describes the action (it takes the sum and the difference) and diff is short for differential too. (26 years ago, 28-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I have mixed feelings about this device. I find it fascinating, for reasons I have yet to come to grips with. It has many weaknesses, the most significant being that only one motor provides propulsion, the other is only used for turning. When using (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  TLG 'DOES' read this...

Apparently TLG does read this, I recieved the original catalog that I ordered yesterday... It's got all the Mindstorms and Robolab stuff plus lots of training kits for both. It's a great catalog if you can get your hands on it, I've already totaled (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: navigation alorithm

*Robot Science & Technology* is a fairly new magazine, and I give it my high recommendation. Issues 2, 3, and 4 contain a series, "Popular Micromouse Algorithms", by Tak Auyeng, PhD. Lots of good info for anyone interested in the IEEE Micromouse (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
