You can't explicitly assign variables to slots, but the allocation is simple enough - they get allocated in the same order they are declared, starting with 0. I have mixed feelings about this device. I find it fascinating, for reasons I have yet to come to grips with. Apparently TLG does read this, I recieved the original catalog that I ordered yesterday... It's got all the Mindstorms and Robolab stuff plus lots of training kits for both. *Robot Science & Technology* is a fairly new magazine, and I give it my high recommendation. Issues 2, 3, and 4 contain a series, "Popular Micromouse Algorithms", by Tak Auyeng, PhD.
