Re: Qui-Gon character translated to minifig...

(...) I'm not sure... TLG has done printed heads for oddball things before, like robots and the UFO guys, but they might change this. I'm not actually sure which I'd prefer...preprinted wouldn't do it justice, but molded might promote Town Jr-ism. (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: My first Original Train Locomotive Creation (age 9 or 10)

Master Modeler James as usual does not announce new stuff very well. ;-) Follow his link and check out his SLAG CAR! Very cool. Nice use of inversion, the entire car body is inverted but the slag bucket is not. (URL) drop center flat is also (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

Re: Thoughts on having preferred customers in auctions

(...) This shouldn't be an issue at all. I am almost ALWAYS at a monetary disadvantage in auctions, especially if I am bidding against Tony, Larry, Rob, or Gary ;-) (...) THIS one might be an issue.   Re: resistor packs and expansion board.

I just saw the following: The artwork on the schematic sold by Douglas shows that RP1 is a 1Kx7 where as your schematic and parts list shows it to be a 1Kx4. Response from Douglas: I do not know where that information came from. The list we (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Qui-Gon character translated to minifig...

Well, most of you have seen Qui-Gon (Liam Neeson's character) on the different Star Wars Prequel Web sites and in various magazines. My question is this, while it's hard enough to imagine how LEGO will create minifig versions of classic characters (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  BrickCommand 2.0

BrickCommand 2.0 ===...=== Wow, a lot of software has been released lately! Well, I guess I'll add another to the pile... I've released the next version of BrickCommand today. There is a lot of improved functionality over the previous version (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Native 68hc11 C compilers

I definitely would be interested in hearing more... (...) I have had excellent results with the Introl C compiler demo. In fact, the demo has more than enough capability to do some very interesting things. Just for the fun of it, I wrote a (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Wireless communications

Hi all, Lately, there have been a few questions on wireless communication between a handyboard and a PC. I knew Jan Sipke van der Veen had designed a something that would do just that, but I found his homepage was removed - he graduaded from (...)
