  Re: New parts for 2001?

(...) And the guy on the 7310 doesn't have gloves on, unless they've gone back to using yellow on uniforms (like Unitron, or Classic). Still, other people have non-yellow hands... looks like trouble. The colourblind monkeys must be very proud of (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Shop at Home up and running?

(...) Well, yeah. I assumed that from the get-go. Although I'll dispute your "lower than retail price-per-brick" estimate. There are 87 bricks in the pack, and one pack cost me about 11USD. That's about 0.126USD per brick. That's nowhere near the (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: What is with the Technic Stormtrooper?

(...) I can't speak for Eric and I'm sure he'll answer anyway, but my $.02 is that I agree that probably no one could have done any better with current parts. But I also feel that just because that's true (assuming it is) doesn't mean that the set (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic)

  Re: New parts for 2001?

  Re: Pawl and rachet?

Hello, I designed just such a drive, using worm gears instead of ratchets. It does, unfortunately, take a tiny amout of time to shift between moving forward and spinning in place. Perhaps it will meet your needs anyway. The relevant images are steps (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Yet another L3PAO update

(...) It's the large fonts. I changed the window so that it is a static size, but it appears font sizes are causing a problem. Someone else mentioned this in a direct email.   2001 catalog

I saw that in the new 2001 catalog that the racers themes' numbers start with 45. I thought that those numbers were reserved for the 9V train theme. What are they doing with that idea? That is just six less 9V train models. (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001)
