Assuming I have got the design spec right (ie, a wheel which can turn 360+ degrees and drive independently), I have managed to build one from just the Mindstorms bits. I discovered something that I can see no use for but maybe someone else can. If you connect the two power wires together from two motors and spin one motor, the other motor spins! I purchased a bunch of Technics kits at the Bay, Zellers, Sears, and Toys R Us in the Vancouver B.C. area. I actually found that Toys R Us generally had worse selection from the department stores, although their prices were an itsy bit lower. I've (...) (27 years ago, 16-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
